New Year, New Look, New Theme!

Happy New Year, everyone!

It’s now 2014, so here’s the thing – last year we were brought you National Days…this year, we’ll be focusing on National Months. Although a survey was conducted to see what readers would like to see this year, looking at Monthly celebrations was decided upon as being the DailyTastyNugget theme for 2014. Part of the decision was based on the fact that I will most likely be unable to access internet for 3 months, at least on a regular basis. So, with that in mind, this seemed like a good alternative. Please know that suggestions and feedback from that survey were taken into consideration, and will (hopefully) be implemented in years to come.

With that being said, here’s how this year will work: Each month hosts a variety of Monthly celebrations, not unlike the daily ones we explored last year. However, there are significantly fewer holidays per month than there are days, so posts won’t happen as frequently as they have in 2013. Again, this is strictly due to the fact that I will not have regular internet access for at least 3 months. A new entry will be posted at least once per week, but as some months are heavy on the celebrations, posts will be more frequent. As a result, the Daily Poll, will now become the monthly poll. This will be posted with the final entry for each month.
