Global Hand-Washing Day

Its Global Hand-Washing Day! This is an important day, being as the CDC and Health Canada seem to stress it! There’s even a Hand Hygiene Challenge! Basically by washing your hands, you are eliminating the germs found on them, which decreases the chances of spreading them elsewhere. By doing this you are essentially decreasing the chances of contamination and/or sickness. Using soap to wash you hands appears to be the preferred method of keeping you hands clean, but using a hand sanitizer is a close second. Click on the above links to learn more. National Bring Your Teddy Bear to Work or School Day

♫…If you go down to your work/school today, you’re sure to see a surprise! ♬ Okay, so it’s not the Teddy Bears Picnic, but it is National Bring Your Teddy Bear to Work or School Day! 

I know many of you will be disappointed because this delightful holiday falls on a Sunday, meaning you most likely won’t be going to either work or school today. But, don’t let that bring you down! Maybe you work retail, or go to Sunday school. Take advantage of this! You could also just pretend you work today and tote that little stuffed bear around with you all day long! No one will know the difference! Better yet, for those of you celebrating Thanksgiving today, why not bring your favourite Teddy Bear with you to dinner. Snap a picture and maybe we’ll hold a contest for best picture! Send them to Facebook, by email, or through Twitter using #thanksgivingtbp!

International Moment of Frustration Scream Day

Oh perfect! Just the day I’ve been waiting for – it’s International Moment of Frustration Scream Day! 

I don’t know about you, but these last few weeks have been intensely busy. Some days I’m so overwhelmed by what’s been going on, I can’t decide whether I’m coming or going! So, today, I may just happily belt out one of these loud frustrated, can’t take any more screams, in hopes of relieving the stress I’ve been feeling lately. It may not be productive, but it probably will feel good, if only temporary! Regardless, I’ll take it! What about you?
