Oh
how fun! It’s National Bathtub Day!
A bathtub is “a large container
for holding water in which a person may bathe.” They can be made from several
different materials, such as cast iron, fiberglass, ceramic, acrylic and even
treated wood! They are “usually placed in a bathroom either as a stand-alone
fixture or in conjunction with a shower.” Apparently, the earliest documented
bathtub was found in India sometime around 3300 BC! This invention has been
highly modified over the years, to what we currently know as a bathtub!
