Steak Day…errr National Bologna Day! Bologna is “a sausage derived
from and somewhat similar to the Italian mortadella (a finely hashed/ground
pork sausage containing cubes of lard that originated in the Italian city of
Bologna”
Apparently, bologna
has been around for approximately 500 years, and has been found in recipe books
from as far back as 1660. Today it comes in a variety of meats, such as turkey,
chicken and even soy-based protein.
But here are the two best forms of Bologna:
