National Cotton Candy Day

Woot! It’s National Cotton Candy Day! YES! Cotton candy is “a form of spun sugar.”

This light and fluffy sugary pillow treat us high in caloric value and pretty much has zero nutritional offerings. However, it also pretty much melts in your mouth, so that’s all anyone really needs to know about it! Cotton Candy was first seen in Europe sometime in the 1700s. Interestingly, a dentist and a confectioner invented it. They were schemin’! Today it is a staple of fairs and other such happenings.
