National Stick To Your New Year's Resolution Day!


So you made a New Year’s Resolution, did you? You’re twelve days in already! Have you slipped up? You’re nearing the two-week mark, which I’m told is how long it takes to stick to a change in routine. Today is National Stick to your New Year’s Resolution Day!

Did you know that New Year’s Resolutions can be dated back as far as Babylonian times? 153 B.C. actually… that’s a lot of resolution making!

            According to a quick Google search the top ten New Year’s Resolutions are:
1.     Health related: lose weight, get fit, eat healthier, etc.
2.     Finance related: spend less, stick to a budget, reduce debt, etc.
3.     Give up a bad habit: quitting smoking, drinking, etc.
4.     Get organized
5.     Help others or volunteer more
6.     Spend more time with friends and family
7.     Enjoy life more: go on trips, spend less time at the office, etc.
8.     Learn something new
9.     Find a better job
10. Fall in love
