Happy National Mom and Pop
Business Day! These awesome shops are usually the center of any small town
community. Unfortunately, due to globalization and Walmart, these businesses
are quickly becoming a thing of the past. How can they compete with big box
stores that provide lower prices, despite the lack of actual knowledge of the
products they sell? Plus, Mom and Pop pizza shops make the BEST pizza –
something I no longer have the ability to enjoy. So, in honour of National Mom
and Pop Business Owners Day, forego the Walmarts, the Pizza Huts, and the Targets
and pay a visit to your local Mom and Pop shop!
