Today
is National Bad Poetry Day! And if any of you remember National
Limerick Day, you’ll know that this
is something I am an expert in!
Bad poetry is EVERYWHERE folks, and I feel its
something we need to value in today’s society. Not just because it allows us to
better appreciate those who can skillfully place words together in a beautiful
poetic rhythm, but because it also makes us feel better about ourselves.
Whether you like it or not, you know it’s the truth! PLUS, with bad poetry it
doesn’t matter if you don’t understand what its message is trying to
convey…because it’s bad!
