National Flashlight Day

Happy National Flashlight Day, everyone! 

Now, you may think that having this theme in the middle of many Christmas themed days seems a little weird, but actually it makes quite a lot of sense! Today, December 21, happens to be Winter Solstice. And we all know what that means – shortest day, longest night! So the idea is that since it will be darker more today than any other day of the year, a flashlight will make up for the light we will otherwise be lacking. And yes, I get it, it doesn’t actually make up for it, but you know what is meant here! Don’t forget t vote on the Daily Poll!
